Another short lived punk act from late 1977 formed by Pat Collier after leaving The Vibrators in June 77 and

playing their first dates at;

Pat soon became restless and left the band in December with new bassist Jim Henebury taking over in time for the next batch of live dates including;

RED COW, HAMMERSMITH, LONDON 21.12.77

ROXY CLUB, COVENT GARDEN, LONDON 28.12.77

Pat immediately formed powerpop outfit The Boyfriends before later moving into production work.

The Flames were put out by 1978 with Tony joining The Reliant Robins before re-emerging years later as the highly respected blues artist Cypress Grove.
