Hi Dave

It’s been a while since I last emailed you but I have finally got my Spitfire Boys page up on my web site.
If you have 5 minutes, please can you take a look and see if I have everything correct.
Also, if you have anymore old photos or flyers etc then please feel free to email them to us.
Lastly, I don’t know if it was you or not but last year I received an email from a ex member of your old band who was now living in South Africa but I can’t seem to find the original email.
Anyway, I hope you like what I have done.
 All the best
 Dizzy

Hi,
Not sure if I have ever received an email from you before?
I was contacted recently by an old friend in who now lives in SA but was never in the Spitfire Boys.
I never played in the Nylonz in Cardiff but the backing band I had were the the Nylonz without the vocalist.
We played under the name the White Boys apart from the single which was released with the name Spitfire Boys.
Hope this helps,

David Littler

ps
Not to be confused with the White Brothers band I joined in 1980 in London.

Hi,
just so your records are accurate.
After the Spitfires split in 77 I moved to London and played with the Photons. This group consisted of Vince Ely (pre Furs) drums, John ? Bass, Steve ? vox and myself on guitar.
After a few London gigs Vince and I sacked John and Steve and recruited Steve Strange on vox and auditioned for another bass player. We played a few gigs in London with this line up and demoed three tracks with Stuart Copeland. The group split after I was sacked by manager Andy Czezowski in Sept 78.
I then moved to Cardiff in November 78 and gigged with Nylonz (minus the vocalist) but it was all mine/the bands original material and went under the name The White Boys.
We recorded 'Funtime' and it was released with the Spitfire Boys name.I moved back to London in Dec 79 and gigged with the bass player and guitarist from the White Boys (plus new drummer) under the name Tier 3.
After this band split I joined the White Brothers of which a track will be released some time this year on Chuck Warner's Messthetics label.
Many thanks
David Littler
PS I love the collective shot on your site with Pete Burns and some St Helens pals.
