I thought I might drop you a line after reading your article on the on the infamous, much sought after, untraceable, did they ever exist, punk band, .... ANTISOCIAL....

 I found it extremely amusing reading about the lengths you went to tracing information about them, albeit one or two inaccuracies......

you see,  my name is Paul Cooper (bassist) band name (Harry Web, aka Clich Riffords) ...lol

 Antisocial depended totally on bad publicity and there was a lot more of that than you have uncovered, a publicity stunt stating that the band was going to hold a punk rock festival in Studley, a sleepy village in Worcester, hit most of the National news papers, ...... another stunt was planned to play live outside Birmingham Town hall, knowing that the police would be involved and we would be moved on within minutes of starting up.....

I worked with knew, as a close friend, Rob Fern, Pete Lynch, an John Harrison for many years but have unfortunately lost contact with them now...

 I would love to contact Rob Fern if you have any contact details for him, I lost contact when he moved to Wales..

I was involved with him from 1973 to 77/78 approx.... am very keen to know where you got some of your information from as its not totally accurate, as far as I am aware they never did any gigs worth mentioning even after I'd moved on due to lack of anything happening.....

 I would also be keen to know who would be willing to pay a £1000 for an original copy of the record.........seen as I still have one tucked away somewhere.
