The Lost hailed from the sleepy satellite town of Maldon In Essex, more famous for its world renowned Sea Salt and the genteel river Blackwater than a snarling teenage Punk band.
Rehearsing in both parents garage and Goldhanger Village Hall throughout 1978 the four youngsters tore up the town the following year performing just three explosive gigs before once again returning to obscurity.
In their short existence they played:
Saturday 6th January 1979 – The British Legion Hall, Gate Street, Maldon, Essex with The Accidents / The S.L.R’S / The Lost
Friday 18th May 1979 – The Jubilee Hall, Market Hill, Maldon, Essex with AD3 / The Lost
Sunday 20th May 1979 – The Chancellor Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford, Essex with Modern English / AD3 / Anorexia / The Outsider / The Lost
