Radio Blank only existed for barely a year...In their short existence they managed to play "Eric's five times. On such occasion they were drafted in at the last minute as 'The Jam' had cancelled at short notice!
There was no love lost between them and other local band "Equinox" who featured future members of 'Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark', 'Andy McCluskey', 'Paul Humphreys' and 'Malcolm Holmes' as they stole their equipment!
After "Radio Blank" had split late 1977, 'Alan Gill' & 'Dave Balfe' formed "Dalek I Love You". In July the following year, 'Dave' jumped ship and joined "Big In Japan" and would later end up in "The Teardrop Explodes".
