UK PRESSING

Our Generation / I Love Her Away 7"

Catalogue Number - LOO 1

Label - LOONY RECORDS

Year Of Release - 1978

Quantity Pressed - 250 (Uncomfirmed)

"Our Generation" was the debut release from this North London based Punk trio. No picture sleeve was issued with this release. This is the hardest single to find from this band as so few were pressed. When we asked the band how many were actually pressed they couldn't remember properly but did say less than 500. Please note, that bootleg copies do exist. The easiest way to tell the difference is that the original pressing has a raised serrated edge around the outside of the label (This can be seen in the above scan) & is a lot heavier. This was because on the old record players you could play records on top of each others and these serrated edges acted as a anti slip device. The bootleg copies does not have this raised serrated edge.

The Second Single

Catalogue Number - LOO 2

Label - LOONY RECORDS

Year Of Release - 1978

Quantity Pressed - 500 (Uncomfirmed)

"We're Not Gonna Take It" was the second release from this North London Punk trio. It was also released in the same year and as you can see, the single was issued in a great looking picture sleeve. This release is also very rare but does turn up more frequently than the debut release. Please note, bootleg copies also exist for this release. Unfortunately this one is harder to tell the difference as the original and bootleg copies are very similar. Both the original and bootleg copies does not have this raised serrated edge like the debut release but the vinyl is a lot heavier on the original pressing. The easiest and quickest way to tell the difference is that the original picture sleeve is shinny while the bootleg picture sleeve has a Matt finish, plus the band photo is much sharper on the original sleeve.
